2021
The Faculty of Economics and Management was awarded the accreditation of CEEMAN IQA confirming the professionalism of educational institutions teaching Management in Central and Eastern Europe. The Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked first for the 13th time in the 15-year history of the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna rankings of faculties of law of private universities. The Medical Faculty started education in the field of Nursing. The University was ranked 2nd in the Rzeczpospolita Ranking of Private Faculties of Law.
2019
The Faculty of Law and Administration started education in the field of Aviation Law and Professional Pilot Licence. The Polish Accreditation Committee awarded a positive grade for the field of Medicine of the Medical Faculty. The Medical Simulation Centre MedExcellence was established. The University Chamber of Remembrance of the Home Army Regiment "Baszta" was extended. The University was 3rd in the Rzeczpospolita ranking of law faculties of private universities.
The Faculty of Law and Administration was ranked 1st in the Dziennik Gazeta Prawna ranking of faculties of law of private universities (14th time in the 16-year history).
2022
The Aviation Simulation Centre - Operator Goldwings Flight Academy was opened. The University was 3rd in the Perspektywy ranking of private universities.
2020
The Student Legal Clinic was first in the Rzeczpospolita ranking of legal clinics of public and private universities.
2018
2017
The Medical Faculty started education in the field of Medicine. For the first time in its history, Lazarski University conferred the title of doctor honoris causa.
The Faculty of Law and Administration was authorised to confer the academic degree of doktor habilitowany of laws (higher doctoral degree) in the field of Law. The Polish Accreditation Committee awarded an outstanding grade for the field of International Relations.

Cooperation with Coventry University started.
2012
1996
A ceremony of laying the foundation stone of the University campus was held.
2015
The University was ranked number one Polish university in the international U-Multirank ranking prepared at the request of the European Commission. The Polish Accreditation Committee awarded an outstanding grade for the field of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration.
The Faculty of Law was the first private university to be granted the right to confer the academic degree of Doctor of Laws in the field of Law.

Dr Ryszard Łazarski

2010
The University changed its name into Lazarski University. The Lazarski University Foundation was established to award scholarships to talented students and work for the benefit of local communities.
2003
Cooperation with the University of Wales started as the first studies awarding a double diploma.
2004
The Postgraduate Education Centre of Lazarski University was established.
The construction of the campus at 43, Świeradowska Street, Mokotów, Warsaw, was completed.
2002

The University opened the Faculty of Law.
1993
Ryszard Łazarski, PhD, founded a private university and became its first Rector.
2005
The Student Legal Clinic was founded to provide free legal advice.
2000
The University changed its name into Ryszard Lazarski Higher School of Commerce and Law.
